This Privacy Policy explains how JB MKTG Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit jbmktg.com. We are registered in England and Wales (Company No. 80107197) with our registered address at Unit 1113, 11/F., Peninsula Centre, 67 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
1. Data We Collect
We may collect the following categories of data:
- Contact information - name, email address, phone number, and any details you submit via booking forms, landing page forms, or contact requests (e.g. your store website, revenue range, and ad spend, if you submit them on a landing page).
- Usage data - pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and referring URL, collected via cookies and analytics tools (see Section 4).
- Advertising identifiers - if you arrive via a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad, we and Meta may process browser and click identifiers (such as the
_fbpand_fbccookies) and, where you submit a form, a one-way cryptographic hash of your name, email, and phone number, in order to measure ad performance and match conversions (see Section 4). - Communications - messages you send to us via email or booking platforms (e.g. iClosed).
- Onboarding data - if you are a client, we collect account credentials and business information required to manage your Google Ads campaigns (e.g. Google Ads Customer ID, Merchant Center access).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Respond to enquiries and book discovery calls.
- Deliver and manage Google Ads services on your behalf.
- Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it (analytics, with consent only).
- Measure and improve the performance of our own Meta advertising campaigns, and add you to email or SMS follow-up sequences if you submit a form.
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Our lawful bases for processing are legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, providing services, measuring our own ad performance), contract (client onboarding and service delivery), and consent (non-essential cookies and analytics).
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Google - for ad platform management (Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics 4). Google's privacy policy applies.
- Meta (Facebook) - for advertising measurement and conversion tracking on our own campaigns, via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. Any name, email, or phone number sent to Meta this way is one-way hashed before it leaves our server. Meta's privacy policy applies.
- ActiveCampaign - our email/CRM platform, used to store enquiry details and send follow-up communications. ActiveCampaign's privacy policy applies.
- iClosed - for booking calls. iClosed's privacy policy applies.
- n8n - for workflow automation used in client onboarding.
- Any third party where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Cookies
We use cookies in the following categories:
- Strictly necessary - required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie preferences). These do not require consent.
- Analytics - Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) collects anonymised usage data to help us understand site performance. These are only loaded with your consent.
- Advertising - on pages we use for our own Meta ad campaigns, the Meta Pixel sets
_fbpand, if you arrived via a Meta ad,_fbc, to help us measure and improve those campaigns.
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner that appears on your first visit. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or contacting us at team@jbmktg.com.
5. Data Retention
We retain contact and enquiry data for up to 2 years unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus any legally required period thereafter.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") where applicable.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing.

7. Complaints
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
