Score your Shopping feed against 40 checks in 15 seconds
Most Shopping accounts do not have a bidding problem. They have a feed problem. See exactly which of your products are holding the account back.

Six categories, weighted by what actually moves revenue
Every check is the same one we run manually on a new ecommerce account before we touch a single bid. The weightings reflect where we consistently find the money.
Titles
30%Truncation past 70 characters, thin titles, missing brand, duplicates competing against each other, ALL-CAPS and promotional wording that risks disapproval, and attributes that exist in your data but never make it into the title.
Identifiers & categorisation
20%Missing brand, GTIN or MPN, blank or too-shallow google_product_category, weak product_type depth, duplicate offer IDs, and variants sitting without an item_group_id.
Images
15%Missing or placeholder images, resolution under the 250px minimum and the 800px recommendation, non-HTTPS URLs, images reused across unrelated products, and a live check for URLs that no longer load.
Campaign readiness
15%The one nobody runs. Empty custom labels mean you cannot segment Performance Max by margin, bestseller or price band, so every product gets bid the same regardless of what it earns you. Plus stock accuracy and price validity.
Descriptions
10%Missing or thin copy, descriptions past the 5,000 character limit, raw HTML left in by the feed export, boilerplate reused across the catalogue, and links or phone numbers that breach Shopping policy.
Variants & attributes
10%For apparel and accessories, the required attributes Google will disapprove you for missing: colour, size, age_group, gender, and the material field that unlocks a whole tier of high-intent queries.
Two ways to run it
Just your store URL
For Shopify stores, we read your public product catalogue directly. That is the source data your Merchant Center feed is built from, so it is where the majority of feed problems start. Around 25 checks, no setup at all.
Worth being clear: this audits your Shopify catalogue, not your live Merchant Center feed.
Your feed URL
Paste the Shopping feed URL your app or platform generates and we run the complete set, including the Merchant Center attributes that decide how you can structure and bid your campaigns.
Accepts RSS and Atom XML, plus CSV and TSV exports.
You cannot bid your way out of bad product data
There is no keyword targeting in Shopping. Google decides which searches your products can appear for by reading your feed. Your title, description, product type and category are your targeting. Everything you do in the campaign afterwards is bidding on the matches your feed already earned you.
Which is why so many accounts feel stuck. The bidding gets rebuilt, budgets get shuffled between Performance Max asset groups, and performance does not move, because the constraint was never in the campaign. It was in the 312 products with titles that truncate before the size, or the entire catalogue sitting in one bid pool because all five custom labels are empty.
This tool runs the checks in the order we run them: what will get you disapproved, what is losing you impressions, and what is stopping you structuring the account properly. Fix them in that order.

A sports brand came to us spending £11 a day, with no Shopping coverage, no non-brand search and no product feed strategy. The feed was the first thing we rebuilt.
